Google: Email, Calendar, and Contacts on your iOS device: Using the Native iOS Apps
There are many different ways to access email on your iPhone. This post will cover setting up Gmail on your iPhone.
Common ways to access email on your phone are:
- Native Apple iOS Mail app (this article)
- Gmail app & Inbox by Google app
*The Apple Mail app on iPhone does not allow Push notifications. This means your email will not automatically update on your phone. If this is important to you, the Gmail and Inbox apps both support Push notifications.
iPhone Mail app:
- Select Settings
- Scroll down to select Accounts & Passwords
- Select Add Account
Select Google from the list
- Enter your Cornerstone email address (using the Gmail option) and password in the following screens.
- your actual email address will remain unchanged

- Select or turn on Mail, Contacts, and Calendars and click Save
