Google: Email, Calendars, and Contacts on your Mac: All the options

Email can be accessed via the web at gmail.com, but if you prefer to use a mail client on your laptop or desktop, there are options.  One important note, our IT Department will only provide support for the web browser version.  

How to access email:

  1. Gmail on the web
  2. Apple Mail
  3. Other - There are a plethora of email clients that are well-integrated with Google. Airmail, Spark, Wavebox, and Thunderbird are a few examples. Setup is easy - download, install, and enter your G-Suite credentials. Feel free to use any one you like, but please know that IT won't officially support them.  

Gmail

If you use the Gmail web-client for your personal email, this will be extremely familiar to you.  Simply login to gmail.com using your @cornerstonelife.com username and password, and you're good to go!

Apple Mail

  1. Open System Preferences and select Internet Accounts.

  2. Select Google from the list on the right.

  3. Follow the prompts on the next two screens to enter your email address and password.
  4. Select the apps you want to sync on the next screen and click Done.

  5. Your account is set up! 
    NOTE: It could take some time for all of your email and calendar events to sync.
