Google: Appointment Slots in Google Calendar
Block off time in your calendar for people to reserve time to meet with you. Need to do partner interviews or potential volunteer interviews. Send a link to your calendar's appointment slots, and people can sign up to meet with you!
Set up appointment slots
- Using your G-suite account on a computer, open Google Calendar.
- Make sure that you're in Week view or any Day view.
- Click anywhere in the calendar. In the event box that pops up, click Appointment slots.
- Enter the details, including a title.
- The default duration for the appointment slot is 30 minutes, but that can be adjusted by changing the number of minutes for each slot in the same pop-up.
- To add more information, like a location, description, or to make the appointment block repeat, click MORE OPTIONS.
- Any guest I invite will get an email anytime someone books an appointment.
Inform people of your available appointments slots
- Click on the appointment block in your calendar on the web and select This calendar's appointment page.
- Use this link to send it out to people so they can pick a time to book an appointment with you.
- Anytime someone books an appointment, I will receive an email notification with details of the booked appointment. That slot is now made unavailable for booking.
