Google: Transferring From Your @cornerstonelife.com Account
When you leave Cornerstone, you may find a need to transfer or backup some of your Google Account (including E-mail, Drive, or Calendar).
This guide will walk you through backing up all your data with Google Takeout, and how to transfer your E-mail to a new account, and how to transfer your Google Calendar to a new Google Account.
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to transfer all your Google Drive files. The easiest way is to download the files (either through Google Drive or Google Takeout) and re-uploading into your new account.
Backing Up All Your Google Account Data
You can backup all the data in your Google Account, including E-Mail, Calendar, Drive, Contacts, Youtube, Bookmarks, and much more by using Google Takeout.
- Go to takeout.google.com and sign in with your @cornerstonelife.com account.
- You can select what types of data you want to export and backup. By Default, it will include all types of content, but you can deselect any that you don't want to keep.
- Scroll to the bottom, and click "Next Step"
- You can change settings regarding how it downloads files, but we suggest leaving them alone and using the default settings.
- Click "Create export". Depending on how much stuff you have, it can take a long time to create the backup. You'll receive a link in your e-mail when it is ready to download.
