Adding an E-Mail Signature

In Gmail

1. Open the settings menu in Gmail (click the gear icon in the top-right).

2. Click See all settings.

3. Scroll down to the Signature: field, found near the bottom of the page.

4. Click Create new to make two new signatures, named Main and Minimal.

5. Open the Signatures folder in Google Drive and copy each template from its document.

6. Update each signature with your information (name, position).
    If your name and position do not fit on one line, allow it to fill two. You may choose to separate them by lines instead of using the bullet point.

7. Under Signature Defaults, apply the following settings:

8. Finally, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.

In the Mail App

1. From the top toolbar, select Mail and click Preferences.

2. Click on the Signatures tab.

3. Select Google in the first box.

3. Under the second box, click the +.

4. Name this signature Minimal.

5. Uncheck the "Always match my default message font" option below the third box.

6. Open the Signatures folder in Google Drive and copy each template from its document.

7. Update each signature with your information (name, position).

8. At the bottom of the window, set the Choose Signature option to Minimal.

9. If it is not already checked, check the "Place signature above quoted text" option.

10. Close the window.
